816 New York launches partnership with Project Sunshine to support pediatric patients

Teams unite to boost organization’s visual appeal and content organization

ASTORIA, QUEENS, NY, 6/14/19 – 816 New York, a full-service brand strategy and communications agency, announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with Project Sunshine, a Manhattan-based international pediatric healthcare organization.

The 816 New York team will work with seasoned nonprofit professional and marketing and communications director, Tim Lemberger, to renew and better organize the brand over time. In 2019, the goals include restructuring content and navigational aspects of their website; augmenting the usability and features of the website, including adding directories and more visible calls to action; and implementing additional UX and visual upgrades.

Officially incorporated as a 501(c)3 in 1999, Project Sunshine operates in five countries, impacts over 150,000 pediatric patients and their families, and provides meaningful community service opportunities to 18,000+ corporate and university volunteers. Their two types of programming are tailored for patients’ developmental and psychosocial needs during treatment. From their website:

We recognize the tremendous weight of managing a child’s illness or injury, whether it requires short-term or long-term care. Every child with a medical challenge is unique, and our programs seek to adapt to the individual needs of each child. We provide family-centered opportunities for joy, connection, socialization, and memory-making.

“I’m so looking forward to working with Tim and the Project Sunshine team to build a better, more streamlined online presence and strengthen their brand,” founder and director of 816 New York, Sarah Williams, says.
