The Challenge

A new direction, a new design

The Virtual Insurance Career Fair (formerly Virtual Insurance Marketplace) relaunches in 2020, aiming to be the leading interactive online experience for major insurance companies to showcase their capabilities and company culture in order to attract talent.

We worked with the team to develop the brand’s core visuals and messaging, to correlate with the software platform upon which the show is built.

The Strategy

The Virtual Insurance Career Fair is operated by Direct Connection Advertising & Marketing. This new brand’s visuals, then, needed to feel distinctive yet in line with the DCAM brand.

After identifying that we needed to use a flat design to correspond to the software platform on which VICF will run, we developed three logo concepts that followed the color scheme and some graphic elements of the parent brand.

The client selected the one they felt was both professional and indicated forward movement.

We then presented them with a brand book outlining the various ways in which they can and should utilize the logo going forward, as well as a two-page promotional sales flyer.
